Prepare yourselves for a night of first class entertainment at a celebration concert for the 60th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific (VP) Day, presented by the Australian Army Band Darwin and featuring special guest artist Marina Prior.

This event forms the centrepiece of activities planned in Darwin to commemorate VP Day, a significant event in our nation's history.

Guest artist Marina Prior is regarded as Australia's leading lady of musical theatre and is best known for her lead role in The Phantom of the Opera which she played for over three years. She has also performed with international stars including Richard Harris and Jose Carreras and has played the lead role in many productions including The Pirates of Penzance, Cats, Les Miserables, West Side Story and The Witches of Eastwick.

John Kellaway, a much loved admirer and performer in Darwin will be performing the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto.

The evening will conclude with a performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture complete with guns from 8th/12th MDM Regiment.
