A National Science Week Event
The 90 minute show is presented by Assoc. Professor Lloyd Hollenberg,
from the University of Melbourne. A particle physicist, Assoc. Prof.
Hollenberg will highlight the musical and acoustic complexity of
the didjeridu.
More than a physics lecture, Lloyd plays the piano and didjeridu
accompanied by didj player and teacher, Geoff Shores and Dean Frenkel,
who demonstrates the harmonic singing of Tibetan monks and Mongolian
peoples.
The presentation also includes a mix of graphic acoustic demonstrations
