Big Screen


Big Screen returns to Darwin for its 5th big year and for 2005 presents a new program of the very best contemporary and archival Australian films. Featuring a fantastic array of free school and community screenings, special guests, double features and a host more, Big Screen 2005 is sure to delight all tastes.

It's our pleasure to welcome on board for this year two industry guests who will take part in a range of post film Q&A's as well as discussions with school groups on the industry and arts in general. For 2005 we present the star of the Australian screen classic The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith and the recently acclaimed documentary Yellow Fella - Tom E Lewis - as well as the instantly recognisable star of the Aussie comedy classic, The Castle - Michael Caton.

Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes before sessions begin.
