Art Gallery Exhibition Tour

The Northern Territory has a vibrant and diverse range of widely acclaimed visual arts. Each year for the past 22 years, the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards, one of Australia's most significant art awards, is held in Darwin. During this time, many galleries host traditional and contemporary Aboriginal art exhibitions.

The Darwin Festival invites you to join in a FREE tour to 10 of these exhibitions. Three buses will rotate passengers to the galleries below so you can get on and off at your pleasure. If you see something you like, you can stay longer and join the next bus. If you are in a hurry, you can catch each bus as it arrives, and travel to the next gallery.

The final drop-off point will be at 5.30pm at the Esplanade, Darwin for the Santos Concert on the Esplanade. Or you can get off at any point through the tour.
