“Song of the Year” for their debut CD “Manilamanila"
Yilila mix raw reggae and world grooves with traditional Red Flag songs from the remote community of Numbulwar in Arnhem Land. They have spent the last couple of years touring around Australia blowing away unsuspecting audiences and carving out a new direction for Australian Aboriginal music.
All the members of Yilila will join the acclaimed traditional dance group “Red Flag Dancers” earlier in the evening to put on a special show of Red Flag Dancing from Numbulwar community in Arnhem Land. Book early as the whole evening will sell out quick.
