Streets of Dance - FREE

During the Darwin Festival, public spaces throughout the city and beyond will come alive as Darwin dancers take dance out of the studio and into the world.
Streets of Dance will feature various dance groups performing short pieces of traditional and contemporary dance, with some new and exciting dances created especially for this program.

Darwin has a diverse and dynamic dance community and a national reputation for creating dance from the meeting points between cultures. So as you move around the city and visit Darwin Festival events, keep an eye out for the dancers and prepare to be surprised by intriguing performances in some very unusual places.
