Balgo Prints – A Recent Survey

‘Balgo Prints’ is the culmination of a community workshop in December 2003, with Balgo’s women artists making their individual, memorable mark through intaglio and silkscreen printing. Some artists will be in residence at Northern Editions during the exhibition.

Maningrida Arts and Culture is opening a shop on Mitchell Street, promoting and selling affordable art produced in the Maningrida region. For its opening, Maningrida Arts and Culture is presenting a selection of new prints produced in Maningrida in June 2004. Both traditional and non-traditional work from Maningrida has a reputation for quality, innovation, vibrancy and diversity.
